Project 365: Day 88

The Significance of Red


(I thought it was interesting to discover that barns were orginally red due to the art of artificial preservation. A homemade mixture of skimmed milk, lime and red iron was often used to make a steadfast compound for protecting barns from long term exposure. Over the years, the color caught on and is now used as paint to pay hommage to tradition.)
